Off the face of the earth.

Well we fell right off the face of the earth.
I have quit blogging about my eating adventures and have a bit more junk in the trunk and how I wish it ended in the trunk but alas it has not.
I haven't stopped running I can at least say that.
Was back at 4 miles but decided to go back to 2 and instead added sprints to the end of my runs. So if you see me and I look like I'm walking bowl legged now you know why?

I have to get back on track, I can't allow all my sore legs from running to be in vain.
Girls, we have to get back on the saddle and lose our own saddles...saddle bags that is.

I had a hearty breakfast today.
I told myself maybe if I eat a good breakfast I won't over eat at lunch and dinner.
Ended up skipping lunch, had a normal portioned but not healthy dinner and threw in some dessert!
Sigh....that's going to hurt me when I run tomorrow.

Is anyone ready to go at this one more time?
I am so ready!!

Running around...literly!

I've so neglected this blog but haven't done too terribly awful. Not great but not awful.

I gave myself time off of running to fully heal from my sinus and chest infection and started up again this week.

AND BOY did I ever pay the price.
Didn't help that I think I sprinted through the whole run because I wanted to get home in time to watch a show.

But I made good time :)

I will resume blogging my meals on Saturday. Will be out and about all weekend.

Friday

No breakfast, slept in a bit to "TRY" and catch up on some sleep...thank you Nick.

Lunch:
Mmmmm...no lunch either, had a cheese empanada from the bakery.

Snack:
Piece of apple in E's class and a sugar cookie.

For dinner I'm feeling Mexican!
I'm making Arroz con Pollo...Mexican Chicken and Rice, going to try and make it healthy.
Well make it like mom used to.
She never used oil, just the rice, chicken, its own broth, some onion, tomato, seasonings, and bouillon.
Now the tortillas those will be homemade and....well, I'll only eat one or two.
Not much of a tortilla eater anyway, love Corn tortillas so much more.

OH And drank about 2 bottles of water through out the day.

Sampled some foods at a party this afternoon, it was one of those demonstrations so you could purchase type thing.
I didn't sample alot.

The sampling wasn't really a lunch and I was a bit peckish so I had the almonds.

Dinner:
Nick picked us up some chinese food. It as quite yummy. I never get a plate I just buy a side of wontons, their my favorite.

Late night snack (because Lord knows I haven't been sleeping lately):

Cool glass of water

Now I feel gorged.
It will just get worse, why?
Today my kitchen craft with the boys is making caramel apples.
They're small apples, smallest I could find.
And I only ran once or twice last week because I got sick.
Hopefully I can do some running this week but this cough and chest thing may not let me, so I will walk. Some excercise is better than none right?

Monday

It's monday and I feel lazy.
But back to healthier eating and see if I don't fall off the wagon!

It's 2:38 and I still haven't had lunch!
Do you know how hard it is to grocery shop on a empty stomach?
How badly you want to buy naughty foods?
Instead I stuck to my list.
Pineapple and chicken for Nick's Pineapple Chicken pizza.
Fresh Mozzarella for my, eggplant, basil, tomato, pesto pizza and whole wheat flour for the crust the boys and I are going to make.
With my starving I bought a fiber bar and had that with a diet DP, should of drank water but I wanted to feel like I was being naughty ;P

Homemade veggie pizza 2 whopping pieces!

Being a Good Girl.

I've been a good girl but unable to blog due to computer problems.
We really hope to get everything running smoothly soon.

I have been watching what I eat and doing alot of what I call "Fresh" cooking.
Using a lot of goods left in my garden before winter kicks in, I think I will make some Pesto tomorrow.
Experimenting with Asian cooking next I want to try Mediterranean.

I caught a show called "Cook yourself Thin" recipes look pretty good.
Plus I'm trying to play with some myself.
Trying to get the whole family on the eating better train.

Don't know when I'll be able to blog again :(
I think I will slowly lose my mind!

Not all is lost.

I haven't been posting but I haven't been eating bad either.
I've been up at the kids school all week for Fall Assesments so I have had zero time to post.

For today is a snippet of what I've been up to.
Ran twice this week....4 miles each.

Breakfast (for most of the week.)
1/2 alternative bagel with Neufchatel cheese.

Lunch:
1 turkey corn dog
side of Black beans...have been doing alot of beans lately.Trying to add as much fiber as possible to my diet.

Dinner:
Homemade chicken fried rice except it wasn't fried.
Threw this together myself and came out yummy!
Even my Picky Nicky ate it and loved it!

No work out today though had "Meet the Teacher Night."

Tomorrow will keep up with this poor neglected blog.

No totals today!

Today is my fasting day but Nick told me God would understand since it's my special day.
I fasted most of the morning, I gave thanks.
Also today means no dieting...buah haa haa haa.

No breakfast:

Lunch:
2 veggie tostadas with avocado,lettuce and tomatoes and a naughty heaping of cheese.
I try not to eat too much cheese but I LOVE me some cheese!
1 regular coke, wasn't too thrilling I think I'll stick to water and diet.
1/4 of my personal sized Tres Leches cake..soooo yummy but was stuffed from lunch couldn't finish it!

Snack:
Stole a cheeto baggie from the boys,they won't miss it :)

Snack:
sm bowl of sugary cereal that I hide from myself up in the pantry. If I had a rockin metabolism I could seriously live off of sugary kids cereal.
Water, water, Water! I've been so thirsty today! Maybe it was all that sugar.

Haven't had breakfast because I'm just not hungry. But I am going to make myself eat something or not I will binge later.
Weekend was my cheat but honestly I didn't do too terribly bad.

Sadly Mother nature also kicked me with aches and I'm not running. Will take a walk this evening with the hubby and then sit and watch him watch the game.

Fasting

Today I am fasting, after reading on how or IF I can considering that I run.
So I decided on a liquid fast to which I can include smoothies....anything liquid.

I decided to fast on my rest days which are fridays.

Breakfast:
Fruit smoothie-3
Water-0
=3

This was incredible!
2 frozen chunks of mango
2 frozen chunks of pineapple
1/2 c light frozen yogurt
3/4c reduced fat milk (out of fat free)
YummY!

If you don't count points the total's were as is:
185 calories 5.5 g fat and 5 g fiber
If your watching your sugar I'm not 100% on that I came up with a total but it didn't seem right for 4 chunks of frozen fruit and Light frozen yogurt thats only 8 grams per 1/2 cup.
If you want to know the sugars let me know and I'll gladly recheck.


Lunch:

Another fruit smoothie same kind-3
Water-0

Might take a brisk walk today...depends how the weather is and if Nick comes home at a decent hour.

I CAN DO IT!

I am going to do another 5K next month (yay for Oktoberfest!) and a half marathon this December so I have to stay on track!
I have gained weight back and not too thrilled about it.
One can run so much but when your guzzling soda, its does me no good to run right?

Also I am going to try and cut back on diet sodas too. Not making any promises but I am going to REALLY try.
I am switching to sweet tea. I know, I know still has a LOT of sugar. But I have a plan.
Wean myself off by making my tea less and less sweet until I can use almost no sugar. I still want some sugar but not alot.
Have already started by asking for my tea 1/4 non sweet the rest sweet. Next 1/2 nonsweet, 1/2 sweet. Finally 1/4 sweet and rest non sweet. I think its a start right?

So I had a moment of weakness today but I will say it was more like depression of not having my boys around (donut).

Started early with oatmeal-3

At the boys school they had a mini breakfast for the Kinder parents.
I had 2 things.

Posting just to Post???

Well Girls I have started baby steps not great steps but baby ones.
I bough some Kashi and am aiming for more fiber in my diet.
I am still in a major funk but I think because I can't seem to rest my mind.
A bit stressed here and there lead me down a wrong path...food wise.

I ran yesterday 4 miles only. I was aiming for 6 but my mp3 ran out of juice right before running by the house so I just quit at 4.
I really do love running, it helps me get away. I feel like I'm running away from it all literly.

I ate okay this morning with a turkey egg scramble but then had a veg burger at chili's and I know thats loaded with fat and calories.

I really want to get out of my funky state, I want to feel destressed, I want to sleep a full night, I want to get back on track.
Can't make promises of when right now but soon, very soon.

I'm awful!

I'm pretty awful guys I'm eating so horribly.

But I did have a diet coke with this :) I act as if the diet coke will melt the grossness of what I ate out of me...don't I wish.

So awful I can strangle myself!

But I like I mentioned before I'm still working out...how do I have energy for it?

Cycled 4 miles and now walk like John Wayne.
Riding a bike is in no way easy!!
And mental note to self:
Do not ride bike while wearing your shorty running shorts.
All of Rowlett saw my business...and no one wants to see that!

Losing it!

I'm losing my mind slowly but surely.
The past week has been hell and I am now convinced I am one of those people who eat to comfort myself. I used to think "Oh chunko thats an excuse you use to eat." But now here I am hugging a bag of Doritos, and hitting on a cupcake with buttercream frosting.
I have eaten like a junkie all last week and have continued with my nasty habit this week.
Though I didn't run last week due to weather and a fridge shopping in the evenings. I haven't really stopped my running work out.
So here's my damage for today.
Sadly I haven't been counting my points.

No breakfast

Lunch:
Bean and cheese Nachos homemade

Dinner:
2 chicken strips from Dairy Queen
piece of Texas toast
Shared French fries with Nick
and ALOT of soda...and I mean ALOT!
When I ran I this evening I thought I was going to have to blog about barfing in a neighbors yard.

Ran 4 miles.
Tomorrow I will run 6 rain or shine and no matter how long it takes I WILL be ready to run 8 miles on Saturday!

Yet with all my pigging out I managed to lose 3 lbs...stress!

Back with a vengeance???

Alright I am doing this...umm.. again.
I have to start my new running schedule today, considering I've been a running bum for 2 weeks I am going to hurt...alot!
Here's a snippit of what I will be doing or trying to at least.

Week 1 consist of:
Monday 3, Tues x-train, Wed 4, Thur x-train, Friday rest, Sat 6, Sun Rest
Week 2:
Mon 4, Tues x-train, Wed 5, Thur x-train, Friday rest, Sat 6, Sun Rest

Of course the numbers indicate number of miles, Xtrain means I have to do a workout other than running, swimming, cycling, weights...something.

Yikes

Well Liza has been a very bad girl but still I managed to sweat my bad food choices away since I vacationed on the sun for two weeks.

I ate really well my first week and ran only once bummer.
Then the second week started out okay and went kaput real quick.
Partially being I didn't eat very much, but when I did it was on the run or it was so hot I just grabbed what I could and we'd scurry like scared field mice into the nice Air conditioned rooms.

Of course tomorrow being the Fourth we will be oh so naughty!
But I will resume my diet and running.
I ran at least once a week while on vacation so I'm proud of that but wish it had been more.

I did do alot of walking out in the country so I'm happy about that too.

To next week....I will resume and hopefully get back to my good ol' running.

THEN to make matters worse Sonic gave free Rootbeer floats and yes I had one.
SO I did pretty bad.....and I was doing so well :(

Apologies

I want to apologize to all you awesome gals for keeping up with the food blog.
We are a great team helping one another out and I've been awful because I hardly blogged this week.
I wrote all that I ate, I didn't eat poorly I just didn't get on my computer much this past week, it was a hard week for me.
I did eat naughty on Thursday night, because I was a bit down but only was able to muster half my meal.
And well it seems I do great on Friday's then cheat all weekend long then pay the price when my stomach feels super heavy.

I will be a goodie again especially since I measured myself and have lost some acreage on my thighs....woooohooooo.

I am super motivated to go full swing into my running routine again...I've been bad about that.

Need to set goals

I am really hoping to set some goals by the end of today.

None (not skipping this should be one of my goals)

Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday evening I was extra naughty, a few shots, LOTS of margaritas and YUMMY food!
I didn't count points of course but you know I didn't eat tons of food either.
1/2c of this 1/4 cup of that but they were so high in calories I don't even want to know.
I know I had....some Turkey (about 2oz), white rice topped with Crawfish etoufee, mustard greens, potatoe salad, corn bread dressing and a side of cornbread, again no more than 1/2 cup of each.
And of course a small piece of cake.
Late night drunken stupper...Nick drove me to Whataburger where I had a kids shake and apple pie...oh did I pay the ever loving price for this...I thought I was going to barf during my next day run!

Saturday:
I woke up hung over, with only 3 hours of sleep under me and met John up at White Rock.
We ran 5.0 miles and he really is a great running partner. I think he mentioned he was whipping out his Marathon training schedule for us to do. I am all for it! If he does that then I have my set of goals there in itself.

Ate REAL bad, had mexican sweet bread when I got home.
Oven baked Chicken nuggets and fries for lunch.

Went out on the town where our partying continued with Nick.
So for dinner let me just sadly spell it out.. BUFFET!
I again ate alot of naughtiness but was surprised on how little I can put down compared to before.

Sunday:
Another day of awfulness.
Breakfast:
1 homemade silver dollar pancake (made with low fat home made bisquick)
1 scrambled egg
2-3 croissants
glass of apple juice

Lunch:
1 chicken fajita taco with REAL cheddar and veggies (john soules chicken..love it!)
mexican rice
fat free beans

snacks:
100 cal nutty bar
And who knows what else.

Dinner:
Spaghetti with Turkey meat sauce
garlic bread
diet DP

Nightly dessert:
100 cal swiss roll


And you know what right now my stomach is still paying the price for this weekend. I feel like my stomach has a rock in it and its making the worst noises EVER...YIKES!!
I decided to sit down today and set some realistic goals for me.
What shall they be though???
I know running is up there oh and you know what?
I haven't lost much weight but I whipped out my shorts from last summer and they dont fit!!!
Still wear them though because I'm cheap and poor...I'm both.
So I have to roll them down at the waist...I love my big shorts, they make me feel happy right now..ratty and all.

Okay I didn't keep track of points today...sigh.
I started to but after Little E's music program today they served refreshments I had a few and it all went to pot from there.
I seriously feel ashamed and so gross. After dinner my stomach felt like I had cement sitting in there.
Whats wrong with me?
Why is this health kick all of a sudden getting harder for me? Is it only me?
What can I do to stop from feeling this temptation?

Mother's Day Weekend

Saturday started out great.
I woke up ran 2.0 miles, only 2 because my shoulders were starting to bother me.
I had a slight burn on my shoulders from being out all day the day before for Z's Buddy Day.
While still in my running gear I weeded my gardens then mowed the front and back lawn.
Had a Juice-Plus shake for breakfast, and what seems like my fave meal lately, Hotdogs and pringles.
It went down hill from there.
Dinner at Aunt Judy's, John Souls Fajita chicken with about 1c Potatoe salad and buttered corn, plus 2 hot rolls.
Cake and ice cream for dessert.

Sunday well, lets just say I had cake for breakfast, Taco Casa for lunch and Jack in the Box for dinner.
I paid the price BOTH days...I just don't get it! Is my stomach already not used to this stuff???

Anyway didn't keep points or REAL track of my diet.
Hey, it was Mother's Day weekend...I had to enjoy it.

I start anew today.....right now...as soon as I get off the computer!

White russian, I added whipped topping and it looked like vomit :( but tasted good..hee hee.

Saturday

Today I ran my 5 mile run with John.
We did pretty good at 52 minutes.
I am not keeping points or calories today, it is my cheat day.
But I will write what I am eating.

Breakfast:
Small (think it was a sample bar) Organic energy bar
(John gave it to me to give me ummff for my run.)
Water and Gatoraded during run

Snack:
Small Horchata drink from grocery store deli, now that was a yummy cheat!

Lunch:
Mothers day lunch organized by the church.
Fried chicken (not all of it I picked out what I could)
Spinach (about 1/4 of it)
Wheat roll(also about 1/4 of it)
Squash casserole (1/4)
Salad (1/2)
Lemon meringue pie (a little more than half, it was terrible but I couldn't stop)
1 Glass sweet tea
1 Glass Water

I didn't eat all my meal not for lack of trying but it wasn't too good, what a waste of MONEY, and cheats :( Also I didn't feel bloated after my meal thanks to good ol' Nexium...took it before I left the house.

Today I have another birthday party to go to. It's at the dreaded Chuckee Cheese.

Had a Scentsy meeting where they had TONS of desserts, pasta, caesar salad, garlic rolls, sodas, sweet tea and...RED WINE.
I did okay.
I looked up the ingredients after the girl who made the tortellini told me it was spinach tortellini and she used Ragu, fat free half and half and Parmesan cheese (she made it semi healthy since she's an aerobic instructor...lucky me!).
So I calculated the best I could.

Thursday

Is it really Thursday already?
My oh my how time flies.

I decided to wait until this weekend to master the art of cooking my steelcut oats.
So I basically copied Jess' breakfast.
Jess, if it wasn't for the craisins in the oatmeal...I would of barfed.
I took 1/4 of water, 1/4c skim milk, dash of cinnamon and dash of vanilla in a sauce pan and let it hit a soft boil before adding my 1/4 c oats.
When done I added my craisins and 1/2 TBSP of Promise.
I think I can get used to the sugarless taste.
Wait... I WILL get used to the sugarless taste, trying to be more positive.

Breakfast:

Tuesday

This was my lunch for some reason blogspot won't let me post the pictures but on top of everything.

Anyway my open faced sandwhich on whole wheat and a yummy salad.
I tried to make the salad as pretty as Tonya's :)
You added craisins to the one you served me at your house a while back right?
I can't remember.
But I do remember it was a YUMMY salad.






Well after reading Jess's comment on GI diet I went to the library and found a book.
I realized even though I only eat small 100 calorie yummies, they still have sugar.
I am going to try and ween myself off of them. I won't deprive myself but try not to eat so many.
Another thing I would love to kick is soda.
Someone I know lost alot of weight thru diet and excercise, yet said they still looked round in the middle and bloated.
She told me she quit sodas and she didn't feel bloated anymore.
I wonder if that could be getting me too??
I LOVE diet soda, even if it is bad for me :(

Tortilla Pizza:
1 Carb Balance whole wheat tortilla
100 cal 1g fat 8g fiber=1pt
1/4 c spaghetti sauce
35cal 0.5g fat 2g fib=0
1/3c Reduced Fat Mozzarella
80cal 6g fat 0fib=2
(only used half on my pizza put other half in my salad)
1/2 chopped fresh mushroom
10cal 0gfat .5g fiber=0
1/4 fresh tomato
0cal 0fat 0 fiber=0
1 TBSP feta
80cal 6g fat 0 fib=2
(I only used 1/2 TBSP used the other half in my salad)
Toast tortilla on griddle until toasty.
Put in oven safe dish add sauce and toppings, put in 350 degree oven until spinach is wilty and cheese melted.
OH rub your spinach leaves with a little olive oil or they will crisp up.
Dinner:
Avocado Tostadas x2=7

I had a dinner playdate. I felt bad when my friend brought 2 DP's from her garage fridge.
I haven't told a bunch of people about me trying to eat better, I guess I should.

Sunday

Well I woke up and ran only 2 miles today :(
I aimed for four but I haven't run in 3 days, so that made my run hard.
Plus, my sinuses were still congested, my nose started to run and I was like...I think I'll run the other two in the evening.

Also, I'm with you Tonya, couldn't of passed up the cupcakes without you girlies.
I LOVED how we all dove in there with our healthy goodies, we rock!

To cheat or not to cheat, THAT is the question.

Oh is that a cheesy title or what?
Couldn't help myself.
I was thinking yesterday.
THIS STINKS!
Why do I have to work so hard to lose weight?
Why do I have to sit and decide if I can allow myself a piece of cake at a party?
And go as far as bake my OWN special cake so I can shove something down my pie hole like everyone else?
It's not fair!
I used to be slender once...heck you know?
All three of us were.
But motherhood took over and we concentrated on what is really important, our kiddos.
But they're getting older and I'm glad were taking the time to do right by us.
I might not be melting off the weight but I'm working hard and dieting in a household where not everyone is dieting and that's tough!
Parties, get togethers, play dates, they are all filled with temptations.
I applaud us.
We're doing awesome.
Through the good, the bad and the ugly (too bad that was taken Jess).

So with that said I step off my soap box and write my chow down so far.

At a Loss.

I am seriously at a loss on how to post today.
I can't EVEN begin to count the amout on points I had this weekend.
Just terrible!
On Saturday we went to little Miss Piper's birthday party....it was wonderful!!
Tonya you have to help me with the boys birthday activities..please :)
I had what seemed like 100 lbs of chips...I couldn't help myself.
Veggie burger, Mac and cheese, 2 cupcakes, ALOT of diet cola, Jim Beam and coke (thanks John it was yummy now I'm craving it!).
And I can't even remember what else.
Sunday...now that was a biggie.
Turkey, Stuffing, Corn, Green beans, Potatoe salad (alot of it), and a roll.
Dessert: slice of Jello strawberry cake, sm piece of Pineapple upside down cake, sm piece of cake with buttercream frosting and I 2 REAL cokes. And more food I couldn't keep count.
Oh I feel so sick today.
I think its a combination of junk and super lack of sleep.
Also I was going through my pics from this weekend and for someone who runs as much as I do....I look awful!
I have So far to go its daunting.
UGH! Going to have to step up my running game to get rid of my tire...sigh.

Bloody Exhausted

I am sick of complaining on how tired I am, But I am!
I need more sleep.
I feel like I've been hit with a truck every morning when I get up.
Not to mention my eyes are so puffy I swear I can barely see.

Must make time for me.....SLEEP!!
Oh E please quit waking me up at 4 a.m.......please.

On another note my runs are getting better.
Though I was so super thirsty yesterday and hydrated myself before my run.
Yet while running my calves started cramping and I was still thirsty.
I wasn't sweating much since it was later in the evening, so I finished my run.
But when I came home I was a camel!

Legs feel fine today, must of still been a bit dehydrated.
I wonder why?

Making Time

Little Mrs. Goldfishtea wrote something on her blog that really has me thinking lately.
As busy moms we don't make time for ourselves....AT ALL!

She's suffering with headaches and her tooth.
Last year I wouldn't even go to the emergency room until my mom told me I had to!
(I soon found out I had a staph infection, was sick for 3 weeks!)
She said I had to take care of myself, make time for myself if not for myself for my kids.

I do feel like running is "Me" time.

But at times I feel like I'm just running away from real issues and have to take time to soak in a hot tub or drink a cup of tea without worrying.....I have to do this and can't forget to do that.

My brain is always in high gear.

Have to send money to E's school for this, volunteering for Z's book fair.
Oh! I have to help with this and that and be here and there.

And when I am at home I'm scrubbing, cleaning and folding.
I think this scenario is true for all stay at home and working moms alike.

I found this article , were not alone.
A supermodel....SUPERMODEL!
Lost herself in the stresses of life and baking cookies it seems.

We can all relate.
So here's a snippet.

That's sounds like a nice challenge for us.
How soon can we make time for ourselves and how will we spend it?
Can't say mine will happen anytime soon, but maybe it should.

True to its name.

True to this blogs name, right now I have shinsplints AND sore toes!
I ran my 4 miles yesterday and my goodness why did it hurt so bad??
I did the same run on Monday and I ran it like in 45 minutes this time it took me almost an hour.
Ugh, I need to snack on healthier snacks to help my poor aching body out.
Oh and I got 7 hours sleep, its not a full 8 but heck of alot better than what I usually get.

Sleep Deprived.

I really have to put more effort into getting a full 8 hours sleep.
It's tough when the hubby likes to stay up late "Unwinding" in front of the tube.
So here's to another goal.....MORE SLEEP.
They say lack of sleep can lead to over eating.
I believe it! When were up late the snackies hit me.

Tuesday's intake:

This salad I Kind of made up myself and love it!
I used to have something similar, I used to order it from a Deli at the Underground mall in Downtown Dallas when I worked for a law firm.
It was the best (and high caloric) Salad ever!!
But I revised mine...alot!

Not bad..not bad at all.

I did alot better, quite frankly I will say I am proud of myself :)
I did do alot of snacking ...ALOT.
But they were healthy choices and one of the snacks (peaches), was because Z opened them and realized he doesn't like his peaches cold.
So I seriously could not let them go to waste and ate them.
Bad thing was I wasn't hungry, but I couldn't let them go to waste....we're too poor to waste food!

Monday:

Breakfast:

No running today, just a bit of gardening.

OH! And gals, The Vitamin Energy Drink is almost the EXACT equivalent to drinking a coke.
Same amount of calories and sugar (off by 2 grams in sugar I believe)...what a bummer.

Ugh! Come on now!!

Okay I need to get my head out of my rear and get with it...seriously!
This day was such a loss I didn't even want to post, but here it goes.

Started my day with my workout.
Tried something different.
I did the evil treadmill.
1 mile of power walking with wrist weights.
1 mile run at 5.5 miles per hour.
then another 1/4 mile of power walking at a 3.0 incline.
That last 1/4 mile killed me and my arms!

Breakfast:

2 slices of grilled turkey-2
Scrambled Eggs-4
8oz apple juice-2
=8

Lunch was skipped since I basically had brunch instead of lunch or breakfast.
(we all slept in)

Dinner:

Oy the horror begins......

1 Chicken fajita taco (in a white flour tortilla, not our usual whole wheat)
filling was a healthy grilled chicken, topped with CHEESE (there goes healthy), lettuce and tomatoe-7
Heap of Mexican rice-7
fat free refried beans-2

Chips and salsa-8

Dessert and snacking:

1-store bought choc.chip cookie-4
Pillsbury baked from a tube choc chip cookies-9
I guessed here since I ate a bunch :(

Not quite there yet.

I am really trying to get back on the band wagon.
Haven't given up on my running but I have been skimping on my miles.
It's hard work to eat right!
Going to try counting points again.

Another one?!

Yes another blog, like I have oh so much time on my hands.
But my cousin has inspired me.
She has been blogging her food journal online, good or bad and I am terribly proud of her.
So after reading her entries I noticed something.
She's honest.
And with her honesty, I noticed a trend.
She seems to be eating better...good for you Tonya!
So here I am ready to put my head on the chopping block.

Yesterday's intake...sigh.

Breakfast:

Mexican oatmeal:

Cinnamon sticks boiled in water than added canned evaporated milk,
dash of salt, then oatmeal.
Sugar to sweeten.
Along side was two pieces of buttered toast....very bad.

Lunch:

Smart Ones Enchiladas Suizas only 6 points not bad.
And a diet Sierra mist.

Snack #1:
100 calorie cupcake

Snack#2:

Bowl of fresh fruit, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, apples, and grapes with 2 Tablespoons of La Lechera.
Not great but not too terribly awful either.

Dinner:

Oy vey..
Taco Casa's Bean burrito, a tostada (both mounted with shredded cheese) and a large sweet tea.

Late night dessert while watching a movie:

Piece of chocolate mousse cake....it was a pretty small piece but you know that sucker went straight to my thighs!

My workout:
Ran 2 miles....should be 4 but like my blog states I had serious shinsplints...should of stretched properly.
