need more sleep

I SOoooo did not want to wake up this morning.
Super sleepy and exhausted. I guess it has something to do with the fact that I have been staying up so late chatting with mom. I don't regret it.

Ran 2.0 miles, then walked Nina.

Monday, MOnday, MONDAY!

This weekend was our anniversary getaway and well I was not a good girl!
We ate...A LOT but I stuck to tea instead of soda, which is I guess a little bit better.

Monday:
Healthy Veg and potato omelet with egg beaters, halfed it with mom.

Snack:
3 cookies w/ 1/2 cup coffee, 1 sugar free cookie

Lunch:
Fideo w/ lean turkey chunks...way yummy!
Diet soda

snack:
4 cookies...oooh why do I have cookies in the house.

Walked Nina in the am, mowed lawn in pm won't walk or run since the lawn mowing made my allergies act crazy!

Dinner:
1-taco
1- taco w/ no tortilla...just ground turkey,lettuce and tomato

Seriously Need new shoes!

Alright enough whining about new running shoes. I will be staying near some outlets this weekend and have to make it a mission to find new shoes. My calve & shin pain has now become heel and inner thigh pain.
TO FINDING NEW SHOES!

Ran 2.5 miles alone, walked 1.5 with Nie Nie.
Now off to breakfast..what shall I make??

Breakfast:
I made this as filling as I could!
1/2 cup shredded hashbrowns
a bit of diced fresh onion, 3 kinds of bellpepper & diced tomatoe
1/4 c egg beaters
1 mini cheddar Baybel
This was rather yummy and filling!
Diet soda...I really should find a better thing to drink in the a.m.

Lunch:

Mac n cheese w/ fresh tomato salad

I hurt

I seriously need to get out there and find some new running shoes!
Today I rested my legs, I couldn't walk Nina due to the weather. If the weather behaves I will take my stinker on a 45 minute walk.

Breakfast:
1 Buttermilk Pancake, with a bit of syrup
1 Slice of Turkey Bacon chopped and cooked with 1/4 c of egg beaters.
I drank a Caffeine filled Diet soda..I needed it!

Snack:
Sugar cookie...ugh so glad there are only two left...the boys can have them for dessert! Stupid yummy bakery sugar cookies!

Lunch:
Southwest Chicken salad (grilled Chicken) no dressing
A few of the boy's fries
Sweet tea (cotton pickin addiction)

Snack:
Soft serve low fat ice cream cone

Dinner:
Salad with grilled Chicken, this time I used some ranch.
This was a last minute dinner since I burned dinner last night! Yes, this would be the first time I've EVER burnt dinner.

Dessert:

Oh my legs!

Ran 4 miles this morning, too worried the rain might not allow me this afternoon.
Ran 2 alone and another 2 with Nina, I did more of a walk jog on the last 2 miles. My legs hurt...A LOT! I think I've reached my limit with these particular running shoes, they've reached their miles and I can feel it in my shins and calves.
I must go shop for some running shoes.
Wonder if the boys would whine bunches if I dragged them with me??
Yeah they probably would.

Breakfast: Special K Strawberry cereal

Lunch: Chili's veggie burger, with Avocado slices and half serving of fries.
Sweet Tea....HEY it was my anniversary Lunch!

Dinner:
Grilled Kabobs, made with 99% lean Turkey Breast, marinated in Teryaki and brushed with a bit of BBQ sauce. These were pretty yummy! The only veg we put on the stick was Onions.
Flavored Water

Dessert:
Slice of homemade Strawberry cake.
This cake is by no way calorie free, but I don't use frosting.
It's frosted with Cool Whip, topped with fresh strawberries and then Strawberry glaze.
Not a very sweet cake but one of my Nick's faves!

Boooooooooo!

With every good intention you'll have one of those days. Today was one of mine.
I had no work out today for it was my schedules rest day. For which I seriously needed due to my 4 mile push, 2 of those miles were fighting with Nie Nie...very spoiled.
Well today I had a great breakfast....Special K strawberry cereal.
Lunch: Ummmmm...Chicken taco salad and way too much sweet tea...bummer!
Snack: A 1/4 of a chocolate bar with full sized hazelnuts straight from France courtesy of my lovely neighbor Amina. Oh no one can make chocolate like the French...wonderfully sinful.
Dinner: Taco Bueno.
Oh my body is going to feel it at my 4 mile run tomorrow. I'm going to add a 45 minute walk to that run.....after all that junk I need it!

* On a good note I sweat up a storm walking around two different parks in 96 degree heat with Tonya and the kids...that counts for something right??***

Lazy gene????

Well I rested my leg on Friday, Well....I still have to walk Nina twice daily so is that really resting my leg?? But Nina being Nina (tad lazy)we strolled for our walk.
Saturday we were in the O.C and well they have more dips and ups than one can imagine. I ran only 3 miles and came home dead!! It's a seriously inclined kind of running route...yikes!
Sunday I got some more exercise in when we went on a long, hot and humid family walk around Nick's old elementary school. It was only 9 am and we were dying...like the boys and Nina I felt whiny..I'd rather run, at least while running I'm making my own breeze.
Nina kept trying to get on the right of Nick tripping him several times (we trained her to walk on our left), we soon realized she was trying to walk in the shade!
Once Nick stopped to point out something to the boys about the school, Nie took full advantage..she plopped on the cool shaded grass and panted.
Aren't Catahoulas working dogs????
This week I kick my running into high gear. I hope to hit 6 miles but will be happy with a consistent 4.
Wish me luck people, I have a few runs to train for.

I'm also trying to eat better so wish me luck on that too!

Breakfast:

1/2 c shredded raw has hashbrowns
a few chunks cut up raw onion
1 cage free egg
1/4 c salsa
Cooking olive oil spray.

Sprayed pan with cooking spray, sauteed onion and tossed in hashbrowns. Cooked until golden brown, a bit more spray, tossed in egg, cooked til done tossed in salsa until blended and warm.
Served with a bit of salt and pepper.

YUM!

What shall I make for lunch????

Lunch:
Bean/cheese burritos in corn tortillas
Diet soda

Snack:
Flavored water
Special K Strawberry Crisps

Dinner:
Turkey Stir Fry
Made w/ 99% fat free turkey breast, bag of stir fry veggies, Stir fry sauce packet, 1/4 cup fresh cut onion, cooking spray.
I topped the stir fry over whole grain brown & wild rice....VERY yummy!
Sugar free fruit punch.

Ran 4.0 miles!! YAY!!! And drank a gallon of water afterwards.

Run a Palooza!

Well Nie and I have been a running!
I'm up to 3 miles, goal was 4 but Nie was quite bratty on Wednesday.
I think I slightly pulled a muscle with her so I had to sit out yesterday.
I will try again today and see if all's good. If not I will just continue on my walks and see what happens.
