Running around...literly!

I've so neglected this blog but haven't done too terribly awful. Not great but not awful.

I gave myself time off of running to fully heal from my sinus and chest infection and started up again this week.

AND BOY did I ever pay the price.
Didn't help that I think I sprinted through the whole run because I wanted to get home in time to watch a show.

But I made good time :)

I will resume blogging my meals on Saturday. Will be out and about all weekend.

Friday

No breakfast, slept in a bit to "TRY" and catch up on some sleep...thank you Nick.

Lunch:
Mmmmm...no lunch either, had a cheese empanada from the bakery.

Snack:
Piece of apple in E's class and a sugar cookie.

For dinner I'm feeling Mexican!
I'm making Arroz con Pollo...Mexican Chicken and Rice, going to try and make it healthy.
Well make it like mom used to.
She never used oil, just the rice, chicken, its own broth, some onion, tomato, seasonings, and bouillon.
Now the tortillas those will be homemade and....well, I'll only eat one or two.
Not much of a tortilla eater anyway, love Corn tortillas so much more.

OH And drank about 2 bottles of water through out the day.

Thursday

Breakfast:
Nutrigrain bar
Water

Lunch:
Sampled some foods at a party this afternoon, it was one of those demonstrations so you could purchase type thing.
I didn't sample alot.
1/2 raspberry lemonade

100 calrie Roasted almond packet
Grape juice

The sampling wasn't really a lunch and I was a bit peckish so I had the almonds.

Dinner:
Nick picked us up some chinese food. It as quite yummy. I never get a plate I just buy a side of wontons, their my favorite.

Late night snack (because Lord knows I haven't been sleeping lately):
100 cal packet of cookies
Cool glass of water

Wednesday

Ok need to keep up with this blog :)

No breakfast
Slept most of the day, my cough has been keeping me up most of the nights :(

Lunch:
Suddenly salad
Plantains 1/2
Diet Soda

Water on and off throughout day

Dinner:
2 sm gordita with fat free beans and cheese.
1 c sopita
Diet soda

snack:
caramel apple
Water

Tuesday

No breakfast not a good way to start the day.

Lunch:
1 1/2 c Mac and Cheese...see what happens when you have no breakfast.
Now I feel gorged.
It will just get worse, why?
Today my kitchen craft with the boys is making caramel apples.
They're small apples, smallest I could find.
And I only ran once or twice last week because I got sick.
Hopefully I can do some running this week but this cough and chest thing may not let me, so I will walk. Some excercise is better than none right?
